WABO Welder Certification ProgramThe WABO Welder Certification Program was developed in response to a need for a uniform method of determining qualifications and testing procedures for certification of structural welders and welding operators. The voluntary certification program provides a means of documenting welding and testing qualifications and competency in structural welding. WABO Scholarship ProgramWABO is dedicated to advancing educational opportunities to students preparing for a career in structural welding. WABO began granting scholarships in 2006 with approximately 20 scholarships of $500 awarded each year. The scholarships are available to qualified individuals who are enrolled in a welding program at a WABO registered community or technical college. The WABO office is located at 4405 7th Avenue SE, Suite 205, Lacey, WA 98503.
