About WABO
The Washington Association of Building Officials is a nonprofit, professional association of state, county, city and town officials in Washington State engaged in the development, enforcement and administration of building construction codes and ordinances. Members (both governmental and associate) are building officials and inspectors, plans examiners, architects, structural engineers and others interested in providing safe buildings for our communities.

Actively participate in the building code development process at international, national and state levels, and support those who enforce Washington State building codes and standards adopted by the State Building Code Council.

Purchase your International Building Codes, Uniform Plumbing Codes, and much more from The WABO Bookstore. The WABO Bookstore is also the primary source for international, national and other state code and resource publications available in print and electronic media form. We also print, publish and sell Washington State Amendments to building codes.

Conduct educational seminars for our industry partners and in-house training programs to keep professional personnel current on code enforcement issues.

Publish quarterly newsletters to keep members informed on issues important to them.
