How to Obtain WABO Code Official Accreditation Program
Certificate of Accreditation
Upon successful completion of each year if a student has completed the required International Code Council (ICC) certificates they will be awarded a WABO Code Official Accreditation Program Certificate of Accreditation. It is not required for the student to have ICC certs to register or complete each year. The student may complete the required certs at any time and submit a copy to the WABO Office to receive the Certificate of Accreditation. Year 1 - Permit Technician (Pick 1 From The Following List):
Year 2 - Building Inspector (Pick 2 Additional (Not Previously Used) From The Following List):
Year 3 - Plans Examiner (Pick 2 Additional (Not Previously Used) From The Following List):
Year 4 - Building Official
- Certified Building Official (CBO) (Must Complete All Three Exams)
