NEW STUDENTS
Once we receive your registration and payment you will be enrolled in your first Canvas course COAP 098 - New Student Orientation. You will receive an email invitation to participate and log in one week prior to class beginning. This class is required and must be completed prior to the start of your first class. As this will be your first class in the portal you will need to register as a new user (First time only). You will not be able to use any former login and password from prior educational institutions if you have used Canvas before. The email invitation will look similar to this:

You'll need to register with Canvas before you can participate in the class.

Please click on the "Get Started" button and follow the prompts to accept and create your password. Once you accept you will be able to login and have access to the classes assigned. The first class you should see on the Dashboard is New Student Orientation - COAP 098. If you are having issues logging into Canvas or questions about class schedule feel free to call Melissa at the WABO office.

RETURNING STUDENTS
Once we receive your registration and payment you will be enrolled in your Canvas course. You will receive an email invitation to participate and log in the Friday prior to class beginning. You MUST accept the invitation through the email and not through your portal as access to the course will not appear properly. The email invitation will look similar to this:

Use the login and password you created prior there is no need to reestablish a new account. Please note the New Student Orientation - COAP 098 is still on your Dashboard. The New Student Orientation is not required for returning students, but is a helpful tool for you to reference. If you are having issues logging into Canvas or questions about class schedule feel free to call Melissa at the WABO office.
